BOX or CARTON

When returning a product back to CTX it should be boxed and packed in the original packing to prevent damage in transit. If original is not available a comparable corrugated box/carton and foam packing should be used to prevent damage to the product during shipping. Any further warranty claim may be dealt as “RETURN TO BASE” basis.

Large multimedia CRT monitors must have the original packing and be palletized to prevent damage to the product.
SINGLE PACKAGE SHIPPING

CTX recommends the use of the original corrugated box/carton and foam packing.

If original corrugated box/carton is not available, pack in a double walled corrugated box/carton which can with stand the weight of the product.

There must be 3-4 inches of space between the product and the walls of the corrugated box/carton on all 6 sides of the product.

The space is to be filled with foam packing which is recommended by the standard carrier packing instructions being used. The foam must be able to withstand the weight of product if the product is dropped.

When asked to include monitor accessories (video cables, power cords, AC adapters, etc.), with the product do put those items to rear of the product away from the screen/CRT. Bases must be removed from the monitor during shipping. The base may be put on top of the monitor if packing and space allow (exclude LCD panels).

The following are not recommended for packing.

DISCRIPENCIES

CTX will notify the customer within 2-4 business days of any damage or non-CTX product received.

CTX reserves the right to refuse any shipment which is suspected of damage due to incorrect / insufficient packaging.

3. A product, which has the serial number label missing, tampered with or altered, will be refused for service. Customer will be required to pay for return shipping. Damaged product will be sent back and the replacement will be collected. Any further warranty claim may be dealt as “RETURN TO BASE” basis.
